Not A Bad Place To Work

My future sister-in-law sent me an article featuring the headquarters of Urban Outfitters, which also houses Anthropologie and Free People (I know, 3 very creative lines under one roof). While I love working for myself, I really think I could be very happy working here every day....The U.O. campus is located in five buildings in an old ship yard, I love that idea.
I appreciate beautiful organization...
I seriously feel short changed somehow right now, I swear I was born to work in these offices! The full article can be found at Metropolismag.com and is definitely worth a read for those interested in design. Thanks Jen!

I Wonder...

If this chair is comfortable...
If this is cute in person, love the cord...
Which one of my clients could use one of these.
If need some grey zebra crewel in my house...maybe a rug or a pillow...

If West Elm was thinking of me when they made this chair.....
How long I would have to save my pennies to have a set of these....
If I need one of these....
Have a great weekend! I hope to have some of my finished projects from 2009 to show you starting next week.

A Little Leather

Usually I like my leather to look like this:But then I saw this image on Lilies and Grapes and I decided maybe I should add a little into my closet.
So this morning as I was enjoying some Cheerios while flipping through the Urban Outfitters catalog, I was stopped in my tracks by this jacket.

Love the brown, not sure it would look right on me (even with a covered midriff). Maybe I should just stick to my favorite- boots. This season I am already loving these-

***When growing up I hated that "fall / back to school" was everywhere the day after the 4th, a sentiment I still hold (even though the burst of yellow as you turn the corner of Target does excite me a little). With that being said I will not do any more "autumnal posts" for a few more weeks!***

While we are speaking of leather jackets though....the other day I caught the end of Grease and I forgot just how happy the finale makes me. So, if you have a minute you should really watch this...(not sure what is up with the captions, but it was the highest quality so I stuck with it).

Tuesdays Aren't So Bad....

While day dreaming is fun, reality is not so bad either. Since I am more a Urban or Forever shopper than Oscar and Diane, at least according to Regions, my bank, you got to make due with what you have. So, to balance yesterday I found some cool dresses all under $100. Let's start with Urban Outfitters...I really like this dress, not sure how it would look on me though...The back of the one on the left is pretty open, different, I like it...

I know that I could not pull this one off, but it grabbed me when I saw the picture, you know in the so ugly you like it kind of way-
Great color-Always looking for a good white dress.
Onto a favorite of mine, Forever21. This dress is $11.50, it may not be "special" but at that price who cares! Add some fabulous shoes or great accessorizes and you are out the door. A great basic for the warmer weather that I hope is right around the corner.
Another simple but pretty white dress, and another basic. I would probably do something else with the ribbon belt, but I like the contrast of color...

This dress is so cheerful. I have not seen it in person, but I am loving the loudness of it while still being feminine.Proof that not everything wonderful has to come with big price tag...
