Your Favorite Color is What?

I know it sounds crazy, especially coming from a decorator, but my favorite color is GRAY. While some may see it as a cold color, I think it can be very warm while still remaining very clean. This week I will be sharing some of my favorite gray items, starting with furniture...


Saw these a few markets ago in Atlanta at J. Douglas, I believe they are Designers Guild..I did and still do want the one on the left for my dining room-my One Day dining room that is...
Speaking of my One Day home, one or two these will be in it somewhere.....

I would add some great pillows but that will be for another day.

Not sure the hubby would love this, but at that price who cares?

Wish I was typing away on this...
However, I think it would be a little too small, maybe for a foyer?

For now I think I will stick with my current desk....

Made from cheap filing cabinets painted gray, restoration hardware pulls and a stainless steel top from Ikea, it is just one of my do it yourself projects. (And yes, this picture was taken on a clean day).

Hi Marianne, I hear you with the "gray". I think gray is my new white. I am working on a reataurant where we are doing gray in place of where most people would want to use white. trim, ceiling...and more. thanks for turning me on to West Elm, I think one just opened up in Toronto.

Thanks for the comment! I am glad there are fellow "Gray Lovers" out there. Please send me a picture when you get finished with the restaurant. BTW-West Elm is one of my obsessions, you will see A LOT more in the future.
