Traditional Beauty
While looking through Traditional Home I was taken by these curtains and the play on scale, very interesting....love, love, love.
Not surprising the rest of the house enamored me as well.

Just Another Thing To Add
I was on the hunt for more information on this vacant latch I saw in this ad...
Which brought me to the Ginger's website. No luck on said latch but I did find many other pieces of hardware which I will be adding to my "one day house" list...
Man their door knobs are pretty. Our current door knobs are....well....heinous (to match our cheap, cheap interior doors). One day when I have pretty interior doors something like one of these will be adorning them.
There is something I really like about oval door knobs, I think they fit my hand better...
The back behind these knobs I just love. My sister in law moved into a house with similar hardware and was going to get rid of all of them and told her NOOOOOOO!!!
Have I mentioned on here that I want a lion door knocker? E.H. the search continues!
I won't even get started today on my "one day" shower but I will tell you something like this will be part of it...

One Of Those Days
Right now I am currently typing this from the library due to our power being out all day. Unfortunately, a friend I made in the library told me that we may not have power until tomorrow so bear with me.

Today, has been one of those days- trying and somewhat stressful. I wish I could hop into the bathtub above. Well, really I wish I OWNED the bathroom above! However, I went to Starbucks where I found I forgot my wallet and the kind lady there gave me a free latte and snack and then the kind lady at the Police Station gave me my police report (minor fender bender in grocery parking lot, ugh) for free too. Isn't wonderful that there are good people out there to make your day better when you need it? A little kindness goes a long way.
