Sneak Peek

What a week...do I say that every week? I swear, there just aren't enough hours. This is how the week began...The installation of new curtains in a client's master, always a good feeling. I love the way this room is looking. We are not finished yet (see fan) but I thought I would give you a little preview...
More to come one of these days.

***Also, I am going to Highpoint for Market finally. I would love any suggestions on where to stay.

very pretty! I can't wait to see what kind of light you choose! I always have such a hard time with lighting.

Yay for High Point! I really want to do a blogger get together because some great people are going this year. I'll let you know!!

Not sure where to stay.. I just drive up from Charlotte. I do know all the famous designers stay here: http://www.proximityhotel.com/

It's far and expensive but worth it if you want to spot some famous IDs :) Met Suzanne Kasler when I had dinner there at last market :)

The bedroom looks lovely and serene. I am sure your client is over the moon.

I agree, Proximity is the best. The O'Henry is owned by the same group and is also nice.

Great room. I'm loving that headboard. Emailed you back. I'm all for high-point. We must chat on the phone and discuss details.

We are just up the road in Greensboro--holler if you need anything! The most fun hotel in High Point is the J.H. Adams--formal with Southern charm. In Greensboro, the Proximity is amazing, and th O Henry is nice. The Troy Bumpas is a nice B&B. Restaurants: Table 16 (the BEST) in Gso, Printworks Bistro, Nobels, Undercurrent, Basil& Co.

Marianne! Email me! High Point is super fun, and I have become quite an expert on "the tour," and I promised you and Jade at Nate Day that I would serve as tour guide. ;-) Really there are lots of hotel options that are just fine - I've stayed at the Country Inn and Suites in Archdale (which I booked at the last minute) and one of the Holiday Inns (Express?) in Greensboro (which Maria at Colour Me Happy had booked). The Proximity is fab, but pricey and probably already booked. I also do day trips from Charlotte.
