Do you remember this wall from
this nursery?
It is from one of the first nurseries I did a few years ago and it is still one of my favorites. This wall is made up of framed book pages set on top of decorative paper.
Recently a client mentioned recreating this and I jumped at using this idea again. The original paper was from Hobby Lobby so back to the source I went.....
Turns out there is plenty of paper to choose from still. I would use any of these in a nursery behind book pages or black and white pictures...
You can never go wrong with simple polka dots.
All of these can found in the scrap book area. There are so many cute options to choose from I had to stop myself from taking 50 pictures. Also, I was looking for a specific room but there are several options that could work in an old kids/teenagers room behind pictures.

It is a fabulous way to make personal and affordable "transitional" artwork for a little one's room.
I love using scrapbooking paper(wrapping paper, too) for things like matting pictures and all things creative that have nothing to do with scrapbooking. The papers are just so pretty! Love that shot of the aisle of color. Thanks for sharing.

i just used that cute polka dot to make a cheap, cute and easy banner for a baby shower. i'm not a scrapbooker, but i love the many uses for such cute paper!

Fantastic idea! Coming up with wall decor (and especially if it involves some kind of craftyness on my part) is one of my favourite parts of my projects! :-)
I love the framing idea. And I'm always scouring racks of paper for different envelope liner ideas.
wat a fabulous idea and the papers.. i am inlove... seriously they are gorgeous!! i could have bought them all for the sole reason of owning them!! another inspiration for my daughters nursery!
What a good idea!! I love using scrapbook paper in creative ways there are so many different prints your choices are endless!
