Bright Idea

I was on Quadrille Fabrics looking for a client when I realized they did something that I think is great. They put pictures from different publications that featured their goods next to the corresponding fabric. Love it, love the organization of their website, just like I love their fabrics (so you have seen some of these before)...
Wouldn't mind this being a scene in my house...

This is not helping my pink mood...
And my FAVORITE fabric from them...

Showing pictures of their fabrics used in rooms is very helpful. You can see the scale of the pattern in the fabric. It's so hard when you are just looking at a swatch of something to guage how it will look in the end.
I wish Calico Corners did this. I can never tell how the fabrics really look just by using their website. That's where I get most of my fabrics. I have to drive to the store to see it in person.

I too am obsessed with Quadrille fabrics, and this idea is brilliant. I have never seen the dining chairs with the amazing backs before..that is going right into the inspiration for someday files...wow!

I always like to see how a fabric is going to look on a piece before committing. Fabric is so expensive, I hate to make a mistake-though I don't know how you can go wrong with any of these.

I too love Quadrille/Alan Campbell/China Seas - such fabulous fabrics! Unfortunately, a friend of mine who's an interior designer in Nashville said they're not the easiest company to order from. Too bad, as their fabric is to die for!
