Architectural Inspiration In An Unexpected Place

When the latest Anthropologie catalog came I found myself captivated with the architecture even more than the clothes. The repetition in this photo is gorgeous....
Just had to throw this in because I love the color...
I could wake up here.
A very special doorway indeed.
And for all the blue lovers out there...

Architectural detail add so much to a home. When I visit a home with beautiful details, the furnishings and accessories are almost distractions to my eye.

Even though I think my eyes would get pretty tired of all that loveliness, I would LOVE to live in the Anthro catalog. How "Arabian Nights" this one is!

PS-- do you know how/where to order the Sugarboo Designs items? I've never seen them locally, and couldn't figure out how to order from their site?

I'll have to check mine out... I was trying to not look at anything in it! :)

These photos are a visual feast! I completely agree with you about all that architectural loveliness -- it really transforms a room from ordinary to exotic.

Loved the newest Anthro catalogue. It read like a magazine shoot!

Wouldn't you have loved to be on that photo shoot? Can you imagine the landscape and architecture that the encountered? Oh well...just have to stalk the catelogue. But I'm like you, I'm not seeing any products here because I'm so focused on the amazing rooms.

I love these spaces and rooms. If only I could push my ceilings up a bit and throw in a few ornate columns, arches and doors lol! :-)

I love, love, LOVED their latest catalog, too, for both the spaces and a lot of the products. The hammock in that first shot was my favorite -- and it's less than a hundred bucks!

I'm so glad you posted these images. I just moved and don't get my usual catalogs and have missed all these pretty pictures. I would love to read a book in that hammock underneath those huge chandeliers!
