What do I like about it: the striped rug, the wing chair, the basket the tree is in, the wallpaper, the slate fireplace surround, the tree, I could go on and on. This picture, styled by Ann Turner Carroll, is labeled "Vintage Casual", which to me sounds perfect.

Love this. ANd it reminds me of the other Swedish one (Cottage Living or Elle Decor?) that I adore- white lights on tree, wood floor, beams on ceiling.
This says "home" all over it! The beautiful tree in a basket, the cozy rug & wingback chair, that mantel. Darling!

Another perfect room...with grey. The last bit of perfection I found on your blog was a grey bookshelf. There seems to be a 'grey' trend here. I think I could just put the two rooms together and be very happy.
I so miss Cottage Living!!! This was such a great issue (didn't this one have Anne's kitchen in it??). So sad that they're gone.
At least Anne Turner Carrol found a new home at SL. They are doing some cool things over there and you're seeing her influence more and more. But I still miss Cottage Living.
