At What Age....

Can you no longer wear a dress like this?I think I am past that age unless it is New Years Eve or something (even then I am not sure). My next question is, why wasn't this around when I could wear things like this? I love a good sequin. ( I do wear sequins shamelessly but just not this LOUD)

That is a great question! The dress is so cute and I think could work for NYE or maybe a hip holiday party? (I'd like to think so at least, as I'm guessing we're similar in age).

Thanks for allowing me a few minutes to daydream and envision myself in those sequins...just before I burst into laughter. Guess that means I'm beyond the "appropriate age"...

Go for it! You are still young. I say be fearless and buy the dress. You'll look amazing in it!

i think the older you get the only thing that needs to change is the cut of the dress and the amount. sequins in general are ageless.
that, and how good do you look in it?

Oohhh, me likey! Ya know what? I'm 34 & I would totally wear that. Probably just for New Year's, but I'd rock it out. And, so can you :)

I am 29 and still wear full on sequins dresses to holiday parties and NYE, and then touches of it throughout the rest of winter. Lots of fashionistas here in NYC are pairing a sequin tank with a blazer and skinny jeans.

It depends on how short it is and how much cleavage it shows...too bad that it isnt in black but I saw one in black that was longer (still above knee) in the Green Hills mall last weekend that lots of ages were checking out.

You are never too old for a dress like that! However, if you have thighs that could politely be described as "shapely" go for a longer hemline.

Love it...

I saw one similar in Lotus last week and thought-
1- I wish I could pull that off
2- If I could- I wish I had somewhere to actually wear it.

LOL!! I often wonder about things like that - about styles and "looks" and hemlines!
For a party - you can definitley still rock it.
But I don't know if I'd wear it to just go to the grocery store. Of course, even when I was 25 and cute, I'd probably still not wear it to the grocery store! ;-)

My thing is long hair. How old is too old for long hair??
