Blue News

Once upon a time, I was a jean snob. However, times have changed and I am now open to all jeans. In fact, as it turns out, I look better in some "regular" brands. With that being said, I broke my shopping sabbatical and spent $60 at Old Navy on 3 pairs of jeans. Right now all O.N. jeans are on sale for $19.99....just a little FYI. It feels wonderful to walk out of a store with 3 new pairs of jeans without even hitting triple digits.

In other "blue" news, you must check out the new Etsy shop, Blueprint Bliss Designs, from my wonderful friend Brooke. Her designs are SOOOOO cute. The perfect gifts for the new little blessings in your life.

Not only does she make the cutest stuff for the little ones, but she also creates very cool invitations and paper products. Be sure to visit!

While looking on Etsy for Brooke's store I came across several cool "blueprint" items. Any of these would look amazing framed. I would love a collection of blueprints on my wall. While not for your wall, these are equally interesting.
Blueprint prints here, here, here and here.

Anyone currently have a blueprint collection? Or favorite jeans that are reasonably priced?

i buy most of my jeans at the Gap but recently bought a pair at River Island. not sure you have it in the US though. i think i like them mostly because it's the first size 6 i buy in...forever and they have a terrific suck-in effect on my legs making me look... pretty damn good!! xxx

You know my love of BLUE ANYTHING! Marianne is to grey as Brooke is to blue. :)
My fav jeans will always remain Levis. Im not sure the number but they have always fit well and the LAST which is more than I can say for the designer jeans of today. I remain a loyal customer of the Mothership of Blue Jeans. I recommend them to all!

M- Had so much fun in ATL with you yesterday.

Thanks for the info on the ON jeans... will have to go check them out. I have a pair of Joe's that are my favorite... but they are looking a bit worn these days.

Love the blueprint links... I've always been a fan.

And thank you SO much for the shout out for my Etsy shop. I really, really appreciate it.

Love my Donna Karan jeans that I got at Macy's for a steal. Because I have to shop petite sizes, I often have trouble finding a good fitting jean. But, these are fabulous. The blueprint images are neat. The perfect gift for a designer or architect. And, being from Kentucky, I would love the horse blueprint - very cool!

I LOVE old blueprints. No one draws like that anymore. When they used to break them out at my last job we would look around at the people in their late 30's/early 40's and say " Where you alive when they did this?" Just to make them feel old:)

Surprised I didn't see you at Old Navy, except for the fact that we live 3 states apart! I was buying the weekend jeans that look almost exactly like the $200 pair I almost bought at Anthropologie.

$60 for three pair of jeans is fantastic. I've never thought of buying jeans from Old Navy because I have such a hard time finding jeans that fit but I will definitely give it a try. I love my True Religion and J Brand jeans but the skinny jeans on the pic look fantastic. Thanks for the info.

I think Interior Designers are always jealous of architects, I know I am anyway. I have always been drawn to blueprints and while at Scott Market shopping for a client I discovered a blueprint of a bar/mixing drinks chart--has how to make popular drinks with a legend, key, diagrams. It is the one think I just could not part with--it is hanging above the bar in our home.

Thanks for the comment and tears...
about my Blog and about my sweet Girl.
Can't believe you have the same dress.
I would so love to see your Wedding picture's.
When Megan is in B'ham we will have to do lunch together.
I left a comment on a Grandmothers blog once, and later made the connection she had a Daughter that knew my Daughter, its a small world some times. We shop the blue Jean
sales at Old navy all the time, maybe we will run into you there.
