Good Things Come To Those Who Wait....

Remember these boots from HERE. Well the Frye Paige Cuff Boot in Slate never actually found its way to my house even though I really thought it might have at Christmas. I digress. Anyhoo, for over a year now I have been on a search for a more affordable gray boot. I have tried many, and by many I mean all that are out there. Then randomly the other day while "just peeking" to see if the Paige boots came down any I came across these. They came last night and they are SOOOOOO cute. I love them and for $90 they are a steal. Now it just has to get cold again. There is nothing like buying boots in June when it is 97 degrees outside.

The man in the brown uniform handing me this package was the highlight of my day. My phone, internet and fax are all down so that made for a long day. They are not up yet but hopefully will be soon so if you are waiting to hear from me I hope to be back soon, sorry for the inconvience!

I love the man in the brown uniform. Ours has a brown truck with very squeaky brakes, so I always know when he's slowing down at my house! My husband even teases me bc of my excitement level when I hear my (other) man approaching. :-)

The boots are so great!! It will be a tough wait.

There is no better feeling than seeing a package waiting for you-brown uniform or not. How cool are your boots? You know there's no law that says you can't wear them around your house for fun.

In any case, they look fabulous. And don't give any thought about your warm weather purchase-I buy my cashmere during the spring and summer so it's not full price. Somethings I just can't justify.

Ooh I love these! I think better than the (crazy expensive) Frye boots! Now you are all set for footwear come winter. :)

I love it when the UPS or FedEx man makes a stop at my house...it always means a fun package delivery for me! Those boots are great, I'm going to check out the site now...oh no, I was suppose to be saving money not spending it :)

Thanks for sharing! I have also been dying for Frye 14L boots in saddle and have been searching for a miracle bargain! (I was hoping they would be on sale since it is summer...NOPE!) I even have outfits picked out...just for these boots! :-)

Congrats on your purchase! I like these better than the Frye pair - I think the charcoal color is nicer than the lighter grey.
