An Advertiser's Dream- Ralph Lauren Paint

I am sure I have said before that I am an advertiser/marketers dream. Put a pretty ad or fun packaging in front of me and I am done, I must have it. That is the way I feel every time I see one of the Ralph Lauren Paint ads, especially the green one. It makes me think I need an emerald room ASAP.I have never used their paint before but these rooms (with coordinating palettes on the side of the picture) may just make me branch out.
Lately I have been wanting a very pale pink office, which normally is not me at all. This picture is what I am envisioning.

Have you ever used Ralph Lauren? Any color I definitely need to try somewhere?

Ha ha no wonder we are friends. I am a marketers dream as well. I want everything once I see it in an AD. Plus if the packaging is beautiful then it's also coming home with me!

I've used Ralph Lauren Candlelight paint in my bedroom. It's to put on over an exsisting color and it gives the walls a kind of weathered look. I love it and it was super easy to do!

I have heard great things about RL, never used it, but know it's really rich. I absolutely love the pale pink. For an understated bedroom like above....perfect!

The emerald is stunning - although I'm not sure RL can claim it. Looks like Kate Spade green to me!

I've used RL paints a lot... The smell bothers me more than most paints & it's not rated that highly but some of their paints have this awesome richness/ depth to them that I just love. (and I'm too lazy to have replicated in another brand, hahaha) But I've had great lick with RL paints!

How light filters into your room, whether scorching sun or entirely artificial in source, will effect the colour and you need to see this first hand. Throw away old tales of dark colours shrinking a room; this is entirely false and in fact a rich or saturated colour adds complexity, warmth and richness and actually makes walls recede. This is why in smaller rooms try painting your focal wall a rich colour, then painting the other walls your flow colour (the overall colour used throughout your home for walls to give continuity), this is known as Colour Blocking.
