The time has come for me to sign off for a while for some much needed R&R. So I will leave you with some images from Southern Accents......
I sigh out loud when I look at this room, delicate, fabulous, very restful....
IF ANYONE OUT THERE CAN TELL ME HOW TO GET BRANCHES TO A.) LOOK LIKE THIS AND B.) STAY LOOKING LIKE THIS I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER, I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIGURE OUT BRANCHES AND I LOVE THEM.
How fun is this tree? I don't know that I will ever do one like this, but it makes me smile.
This picture is named "Subdued Elegance", need I say more?
Dear Santa,
I have tried my best to be good this year. All I want for Christmas is a working fireplace with a pretty mantel.

Happy Holidays Marianne! Today I'm off after today for a couple of days and then back next week until New Years! Boo!
Enjoy your time off!
Such beautiful photos Marianne!! Ok, here's my branch trick (& It hasn't worked every time for me so I'm not sure if it's certain varieties or what but..) Once you bring them in from outside, cut them directly under warm runnig water & then put them right into the vase of water. Sometimes they have wilted on me like a day later & then I've done that again & the've been okay for a couple of weeks!. (But the trick is REALLY warm water.).. And then even after they wilt, sometimes it's not totally over. haha I hoped this helped a little!!
have a wonderful holiday!! xoxo
Thanks Ladies!!!!
Lauren, I will try your trick and let you know how it goes....

Enjoy your time off! Happy Holidays!
The picture that is next to last... ONE DAY! Merry Christmas! xoxo!
