Good Read

My Sister-In-Law sent me this article this morning, perfect timing.  Getting out the door every morning running no less than 10 minutes behind is a small victory every day. This morning that feat proved to be even harder with a cranky, cranky, colored ALL over the wall toddler.  Good thing I have pictures like this saved on my phone that make me instantly forget I aged 5 years in 1 hour.

I read this same article the other day and boy was it needed. It made me chuckle. I have a 2 1/2 year old and an almost 6 year old...It was nice to hear someone else "say it out loud!"

Read the article too and can totally relate! Reading the book "Carry On, Warrior" which has some helpful antecdotes on parenting. One of my favorite being taking the stress of of enjoying every minute of every day with your children but instead embrace the little moments of the day. The whole day doesn't have to be idyllic but at some point during the day, their little smile will warm your heart (the next moment they could be coloring on the wall) but you did have one good moment of the day :)
