I have a love for art with ships, large sailing ships in the sea to be exact. It started with the two Chilean watercolors seen on either side below from my Dad and Uncle, more info here. Then it progressed when I found the middle painting several years ago in a Ponchatoula, LA and had no money to buy it. I was shopping with Patrick's Step-Mom who sensed my desire and gifted to us. All these years later I still LOVE it. I am so happy it did not end up on the "one that got away" list. I bought a fourth piece recently, I look for new pieces everywhere I go, and now I am thinking I need to change things up.

Oh man...did you check out the rest of that guy's house (the pic you found on Pinterest)? It's amazing! I'm diggin' your little gallery there. I have a ship print (Currier and Ives one) that I'm thinking about hanging in my bathroom. So thanks for the inspiration!
Even though I live in a land-locked county, I love seascapes, too. I have three in my library. I feel the need for more, too. :)
I have admired that same pin, more than once and am on a mission to obtain many seascapes, too! Something so fresh about those waves on the wall. Wish I was closed so I could peruse your booth!
