LOL I TOTALLY understand what you're saying! It took a couple of years (about 3) to have some time for my magazines. The best way is reading while I have my breakfast. Otherwise, I was always too tired, busy w/ more "important" things to do at the time. Now, I'll feel the same way again, since my little one will be born in less than 3 weeks. :-)
I'll join your club of "no magazine for a while". :-)
Yep, that about sums up this point in your life, doesn't it? :) The magazines will wait and you'll once again have time to curl up with them in the evening.
Too funny! I'm just a few days away from delivery, so I'll take a little time this evening to sit peacefully (albeit uncomfortably) on the couch and catch up on some light reading!
hahaha ... so smiling about that pacifier! I found them years after my daughter gave them up (almost three and VERY reluctantly) underneath beds, in sofa cushions ... she is 21 years old now and I have one saved for prosperity. And now we have my daughter with her baby here and we have already gone up to buy more! And I agree - hard to find the time to just sit and peruse through a favorite shelter magazine - but oh so nice when you can ;)
I KNOW. My magazines are so piled up...when I look over and see the months of AD (and Vanity Fair) still in the wrapper I feel sinful. I get so excited when my new Elle Decor and House Beautiful are in my mailbox and then they promptly get placed in the pile. The one I'll never touch. Thank goodness for blogs. :-)
Oh Yes!! The beloved magazine. I find with blogs and pinterest I am picking up my magazines less and less. You on the other hand have a baby in your arms, that is better than any magazine will ever be. I do love the ritual of a cup of tea and sitting in my rocker going into another world inside the pages. At least yours are nice and neat in fun containers, good for you. Just enjoy that sweet, sweet little one, Kathysue
Since Lleyton arrived my magazines are heaped in a pile too! And to be honest, I don't miss it a bit, as I'd rather look at his sweet little face. I'm sure you feel the same :) Keep soaking him up, the time goes so quickly.
As for the paci, I find them everywhere! It's quite comical sometimes.
I remember those days. I don't think I think I started a book when my first son was born and finished it sometime around his fifth birthday! It's a pretty nice trade off though.

I just sorted through my magazines this weekend. Sometimes it's hard to keep up!

Oh, Marianne ... 5.5 years later and my magazines and I are still not fully reunited. A girl can dream!

Nothing better than the glossy numbers.
