Getting In The Spirit

This fall has flown by in such a whirlwind I find myself less than a week away from Halloween without so much as one pumpkin. Usually as soon as there is a chill in the air you can spot mums, gourds and pumpkins of all varieties peppering our porch. I love decorating for Halloween and the fall but this doesn't seem to be the year. There is always next year though and these will serve as inspiration. That reminds me, any suggestions for a good costume for Henry or 8 week old babies in general?

just created a spooky gallery wall last night for a tween party this weekend - so fun! Love the branches in the pumpkin idea...I'm planning on trying one of those...

Check out these precious outfits- http://wanderingsofawannabe.blogspot.com/2011/10/cutest-ive-ever-seen.html. Henry may need to be a little cowboy!

Love these images - great ideas! We have our mums out, along with some pumpkins, and fall wreaths, as well as a few ghosts decorating the dogwood. You ought to find a little orange, yellow and white knit hat for Henry so he can be a candy corn. :)

I love the fall, but have such a hard time getting in the mood when it is still 90 degrees here in Florida. Thanks for all of the inspirational photos.
