Man Overboard

My phone met a horrible fate and decided it did not want to live anymore. If you have been trying to reach me I promise to get back to you as soon as I have a replacement.

So frustrating! Mine stayed on the plane we were on this summer, I think it thought the next destination was Maui or something.

Don't you just hate suicidal electronics? So selfish of them! :-)

Have a blessed weekend.

You didn't elaborate on the horrible fate, but if it landed in water, it can be saved. I saved mine(cup of coffee) and my son's phone(toilet) with this method. Take the battery out of the phone, place both battery and phone into a ziplock baggie full of rice. Leave for a couple of days. The rice dries out the circuitry without damage. The phone is operational afterwards.

Even if you do end up getting a new phone. It's good to do this to grab any contacts off your phone that you hadn't backed up.

Hope this helps.
