The Nursery: 38 Weeks

Twas two weeks before my due date, when all through the house, every creature was stirring, especially my spouse*.
The curtains were hung in nursery with care, with hopes that Baby Strong would soon be there.
The nursery is really coming together, I can't wait to share it with you but there is still more to be done so for now I am going to wait before showing the whole room. Here are some peeks though...
Details on certain items coming this week and next...
*I have to say a special thank you to Patrick who has been working so hard every spare minute for weeks now. Painting, hanging, painting, building, painting, measuring, painting.....you get the picture. Pre-baby he was always helpful around the house, he loves a good project, but he did not paint. Little did he know his journey to fatherhood would include roughly 72,000 hours holding a paint brush....

I am impressed he did the ceiling never having painted before. Would you recommend it to a novice? My husband has a hair that he wants to paint the playroom....which includes a striped ceiling....I am worried...

Cannot wait to see the final product....looks great from what I can see!

Hurray!!! So exciting and 2 weeks to go!

Honesty: I never finished the nursery. :-( Terrible, I know. So I worked extra hard on his fabulous big boy room. You'll be so glad you did every last detail, and it's looking fantastic!!

Can't wait to see it! The sneak peeks are adorable. Some days, I'd love to do it all over again just to get to decorate another nursery!

oh, Gosh...

I really feel giving a hug right now! I remember your 1st post letting us know you were pregnant, a couple of months, here I was too! It's been a journey and it's so amazing you'll be able to hold your baby so soon. I feel so happy for you both!

Everything is looking so beautiful and so you, Marianne. You really put your "trademark" in this nursery and I love everything I saw!

Happy, happy, happy for you!
