Quiet Time
I would say I am pretty good about not judging others but this week I needed a little reminder....and I got it.
"So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother's way." Romans 14:12-13

Hi Marianne, I was watching an Oprah episode that was DVR'd on my TV this week where she had on the single mother who has 14 children ("octuplet mom") and it was Oprah with Suze Orman the financial expert and I think the most profound statement that Suze made was 'why' she decided to do the show and it was about judging. She talked about how easy it is for us all to point the finger at someone else when we do things that are basically for the same reasons. And I really appreciated her words. I think that judging other people comes out so subtly that we are not even aware that we are doing it.
