Paint Project Inspiration

Remember this post about stenciling roller shades? I thought about when I came across this picture on Country Living...I was looking for this project. Still don't know if I will attempt this...
I would definitely try the shade project but I am not sure about the roller with the stencil. What do you think? Would you try it?

Maybe you could start with an inexpensive shade and go from there. If it turns out well, great, if not, you wouldn't be out much more than your time.

I might do it after LOTS of practice.

hmmm...the roller kinda sounds too good to be true. Might be fun to try when you get a lot of time on your hands....if you're like me, that may not be till wallpaper is out of style. : )

So interesting. I went to the website, and it looks like they don't use the double roller technique any longer? I'm intrigued ...

I do remember that post...I still think you should do it! Just pick up a cheapy charlie shade and give it a shot, along with a great tutorial on it. xo

I remember seeing that article on rolling the entire room and thinking there is absolutely NO WAY anyone could have it turn out perfectly.

I would be nervous to not mess it up, but I would definitely go for it! It's a great way to add a little whimsy to your decor.

It looks like so much fun...no seriously, I think it would be fun! I really like painting, though and that shade with the birdcage is just so cute!
