Quiet Time-Patience

Wait for the LORD, be strong and let your heart take courage. Yes wait for the LORD! Psalm 27:14

Do not throw away your confidence, it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. Hebrews 10: 35-36

Thank you to the sweet friend who sent these to me, God is good.

That was exactly the message at church this weekend! Sometimes we want instant gratification or results -but God is always here working in our lives!

I, too, needed your Sunday post today...waiting and patience aren't my forte. The Lord must smile, because sometimes he doesn't give us any choice but to wait! I guess that is when faith has to hold steady...and that is perseverance. Have a blessed week.

Don't we all just get in such a rush and want to control everything - make things happen when WE think they should and how we think they should? Good scripture and good wisdom. Thank you, Marianne.
