Gorgeous bedrooms. The black and white room is so striking. I love all of the stripes also. I have painted them in many a room now and I never tire of them. Some of my favorite effects were doing the same color stripes but in different finishes, satin with high gloss, etc. It makes for such a rich look.

All of the Firmdale hotels are amazing! We stayed at the Haymarket on the first night of our honeymoon. The suite was to die for! We were recently in New York and couldn't justify the price tag of the Crosby Street Hotel for the couple of nights we were there, but we did stop by for afternoon tea and I would highly recommend it! It's great excuse to have a wander around the lobby and library etc...it's all so beautifully done! Enjoy your trip!

all the bedroom are very different from each other and have their own personalities, one thing that is common is comfort level and the way they have been managed for storage with bedside cabinets and other closets

Gorgeous hotel. I swear, every time I travel to NY I end up in boring chain hotels or take a chance on something fun only to regret the postage stamp of a room that comes with some of the chic new hangouts.
