The Fun Of Finding An Old Friend

I found myself on Kelly Wearstler's website earlier in the week when looking for the original plate image for yesterday's post. It was just like talking to an old friend you hadn't seen in a while. It was fun to look through her portfolio again.....and might I say just the right type of images to bring us into the weekend...Love that roman shade...
I don't think I will ever get sick of seeing these shells....
Love Love Love.....Love this image. Did I mention I love this room?
Hello floor dreams are made of...oh and the details back of the stools- you are nothing to sneeze at either...
I hope you have a wonderful and safe weekend. All images Kelly Wearstler.

That first image just disturbs me :) On the bright side, my 4-year-old may be a Kelly Wearstler in the making!

My husband and I are slowly restoring our 1909 historic home and I have clung on to that diagonal bookshelf image for years--Our library bookshelves are going diagonal and my contractor thinks I have lost my mind. Will, my husband knows I lost it years ago!

I love that Kelly's work is always so bold. She takes risks, and even if the style isn't to your tastes, you can always appreciate how she steps out of the box. It inspires me to push the envelope a little bit. Love the diagonal book wall...calling my carpenter tomrrow!
