Dear John (Robinette)
Dear John Robinette,
I hope I am not being to forward but I love you, well I should say love your work. Actually obsessed may be a more accurate word. When a client in Memphis sent me an image of a painting you did she was thinking of purchasing I almost feel out of my chair. I was hit by LOVE. She purchased two and I must admit I am feeling jealous. Beside the Memphis/Mississippi connection we share, what is most striking about your paintings is that they seem to actually glow. This weekend in Oxford I was able to view some of your works in person at the Southside Gallery...They were setting up for the show, that is why these are on the floor....
This one will be mine one day, no not the big one....
This little guy right here....See the reserved for Marianne Strong sign right beside it (okay maybe that is just a plug but a girl can dream can't she?)
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE....LOVE.
Saving my pennies...

If I ever win the lottery you are on the list now. I will buy you the painting with my winnings. :) They are magical.
These are amazing... and I'm sure even better in person!
those are so eye-catching...hope your dream comes true...
Great artwork!! I want one too!
Those are beautiful. You're right they do seem to glow. I love the one with the gentleman playing the guitar. It really has a mood to it.
That is incredible, they totally do glow!
Oh my! How does he get that glow to emanate from his work? It's just amazing. I can see why you're so taken by it.
Dear John,
I also love your work. I lived in Memphis for 3 years and the gallery that showcased your art during the Trolly Tours on South Main was always my favorite stop.
I love Marianne's work too:)

I only have one word...STUNNING!
NEAT ! I love the moon over the steeple! I'm sooo jealous you got to go to Oxford!
i love his stuff too! there used to be this great restaurant in memphis that only had this work on the walls... they closed, and i tried to get my parents to buy one at that time... they didn't and i think they regret it!! i'll have to pop in southside to see the show!
i've been a big fan since my first trolley tour too! we actually had our rehearsal dinner at the restaurant mary-kathryn is talking about (jarrett's) partly because i loved that it was practically a john robinette art gallery :)
These are amazing... and I'm sure even better in person!
