High & Low

Is it spring yet?Unfortunately not only is it not spring, but this girl has a hurt back and the doctor says I need to scale back the heels some. So I am looking at flat boots for the winter. Of course I can't stay away from Frye...

But I am open to any suggestions for "doctor approved while still good looking" boots.

What a shame! I LOVE the pale pink heels...but you'll look great in the flats, too.

Love those heels! also, just got the Frye Dorado boots on the left in black for Christmas. I did want the Paige first on the left, but changed my mind. They are awesome! Love how they go over jeans with plenty of room. I am still breaking in though, the heel slips some, I doubt the Paige boots do that. either way, I don't think you can go wrong! {We apparently have similar boot taste!}

LOVE those heels. The Frye's aren't to bad either though!

oh swoon-worthy heels. The boots are chic though too! Haven't tried Frye, but have been eyeing several! How about some of the lower Cole Haan ones? Love the Nike air shoes.

Sorry to hear about your back! When I started training for a half-marathon, I had to give up heels for a bit which left me with practically no shoes to wear!!

Ooo, I really like the boot on the left! I'm with you on the heels - I dealt with back pain during the holidays, induced by super-cute shoes. So cute, yet so destructive!

J.Crew has some awesome flat riding boots...not super cheap...but cheaper than Frye.

Go for the Fryes - I live in them! I have a charcoal grey suede pair and a brown leather pair. I should warn you, though, I can't even stand to wear heels anymore because my boots are so comfortable.They are great with jeans, leggings, or tights with skirts. Hope your back is better soon!

I thought you bought the one's on the left last spring on sale? I have thought about it all winter, wishing i did the same.

I bought 2 pair at Aldo this year, probably won't do it again. They are not holding up so well. But they are comfy and I walk a mile to work everyday, so comfy was my #1 priority. And surprisingly the Target Frye knock offs are doing just fine.

Nike paired up with Cole Haan to make the most comfortable shoes. I could walk in these for days, a little pricey but worth it. Also I have found that Tory Burch boots are comfy too!
