By 8:45 a.m. you have blown your month's "extra spending money" on oh say the dentist office because a filling fell out and you should just go home because half your face is numb and you have lots of work to do, but then you find yourself at Anthropologie talking yourself out of spending $200 on this.....
Neither of which fall into the "necessary" item category to which just an hour ago you swore to yourself was the only purchases you could make for next few weeks. I was just wondering if this happened to anyone else, you know, hypothetically speaking.....

Well it's Monday and these things happen! That's such a drag a filling fell out although I've had 2 crowns fall out of my mouth!! Feels like you have just bitten on a stone when that happens as well (since it's usually while eating). Sigh, and we are so deprived not to have an Anthropolgie!
I can so relate...spent a fortune on an unexpected car repair recently and really trying to refrain from spending. Yet, I really need a new sweater from Anthro. Really, I do.
Um YES. My husband and I denied the warranty on our new used car because it would have been an extra $50 a month, and after taking it in for a routine oil change it had $700 worth of repairs that needed to be done. Then, on that same day, when I pulled up to our house, I was an idiot and turned the car off while ejecting a CD, and it got stuck and now the CD player is broken. It was a horrible, terrible day.
Happens more than I would like to admit. You're not the only one :)

I would definitely rather be spending money on fun things than the dreaded dentist for sure. =)
ugh i hate the dentist. tea cups for 200?? whaaaaaat? i'm guessing they still haven't gotten your letter :(

You know you aren't supposed to go in that store!!! ME and I went in one in ATL on Saturday. I could have dropped a load of cash.
