Nothing makes me feel like an underachiever more than a look around Martha Stewart's website. Do you feel that way too? Since it is almost that time.....
The sweetness of this one along with the yarn makes me think of my Grandmother.
Oh no, no, no. Sorry Martha, these will NEVER be in my house. I can't stand spiders or rats...
Gives me the heebie-geebies...
Oh, now here is one I can do...haha...
Martha would never let one go hungry....

I feel for you. I just picked up the November issue yesterday and had to remind myself that she doesn't do it alone like the majority of us. I will admit though, I'm a Martha addict.
I've stopped feeling inadequate when it comes to Holiday sprucing because one, Martha obviously has a limitless budget, and two, she has a staff doing most of it for her now.
But to have an iota of her ingenuity...wow.
Martha's magazine really blows my mind, though. I really love her displayes and decor because some are just so fantastical. Who else would dream up these things?
I'm pretty happy with the decorations the children and I pull together on our shoestring budget these days. But it's nice to get a creative nudge from Martha now and then.
Thanks for some gorgeous inspirational images!
It is unbelievable what I can read about Martha Stewart on the blogs!
Being a Belgian, I had never heard of her before but now I know a lot of her!!!

Such pressure. Martha has legions of creative types doing all that fun stuff for her. This morning, I asked my husband if we were going to carve our pumpkins. He said, "Carve them?" And, that's about how ambitious we are with our Halloween decor.
I agree! I guess that's why there is only 1 Martha, right? So many inspiring photos on her site...I get lost there sometimes! Love the table with the silver pumpkins. So great!
Such great images! I'm with everyone else - I just remind myself that she doesn't do it alone. :-) Have a good day...

I totally agree about Martha. I tried to make a Christmas Wreath I got from her website last year and it turned out not as pretty as hers. I love all these Halloween things!!
the silver pumpkins are a favorite of mine. i like the candy wreath ideas also. and i am with you, nothing scary for me.
Just when you think she has exhausted her supply of Halloween decorating ideas...
Love the little Ice Cream Sandwitch!
I hear you loud & clear Marianne. I so want to be this person but even now I can't even manage to do the basic decorating. Hang on to time because it's true, that as you gain years, time flies at a faster speed than ever before. I'm afraid just using Halloween napkins will have to suffice. *gasp*
I love the silver pumpkins and Christmas tree light pumpkins. Martha (or her staff) never disappoints!
Loved this post!
I cannot find the white fuzzy pumpkins made of yarn (?) on her website? Do you have the link?
me too! i routinely feel: underachiever, uncreative, and unable to handle power tools!!
Martha is totally my girl crush. I love everything she has on her website... it's just perfect!!
I, too, went directly to Martha when trying to figure out how to decorate for Halloween and not have it look tacky. There's a reason she's so successful...
I'm glad someone else has that reaction to Martha! But, still, we can't get enough of her...what the heck? Love the pumpkins with the lit polka dots (for lack of a better description).
if Martha's people and the Google people ever get together, I think they could easily take over the world ...
Love, love that candy wreath! And the display of lit up pumkins on a log is beautiful. I'm with you, no rats or creepy-crawly decorations in my home!
Oh, I don't even bother to look! I'll never get to all the fabulous looks she features, and the best make it to blogs like yours, so I get just enough inspiration without becoming overwhelmed (and discouraged!!)
I love the yarn pumpkins! That is an idea I will try to attempt...one of these years.
Thanks! Janell
Halloween is by far my favorite holiday "spent with" Martha. Her team is ingenious!!! Love it all!
Ahhhhh! Pumpkins! One of my favorite things!! Especially the way "mAArtha" does it!! LOL!
Love the pumpkin with the mice! Too cute & so Martha!
ugh, the mice! eeeww! I love the pumpkins, though!!
Endless inspiration! I love the candy wreath and food ideas, but I agree with you, no mice please!
How is she so talented? If I ever attempted any of these Halloween goodies or decorations, they would turn out so horrible. Everything she does is just amazing!
Heard that! She's got a great staff behind her! I love the witch-wiches and the lit pumpkins!
Those were wonderful. If I could pick just one of those ideas I would be doing GREAT! Thanks for sharing!
I feel so inferior. **Sigh**
XOXO-
Miss Martha always has the best ideas, or maybe her staff does, either way I love them all! Always inspiring to look through her magazine. I really love the image of the pumpkins lined up on the tree...it makes me when to get away to the country and out of Boston for a weekend!
Ohhhhhh, I love the jars filled with all the Halloween goodies. I'm going to have to try to recreate that!
Okay, I just did a post on pumpkin flower arrangements. I thought mine was decent until I saw Martha's....
Oh, that head is brilliant! One of the coolest things I have seen.
