Split Personalities

Sometimes I swear I have split personalities. For example, I LOVE this bedding from HERE.
I love both colors and how fresh, light and feminine it is. Yet, I find myself really wanting this bear sham too- the complete opposite.
While we are talking about bedding, I am LOVING this fabric but not sure where I would use it. I am thinking maybe a new bed for Harry (our dog)?
How many people out there have very different, opposite styles that they love equally?

I know what you mean...I love the look of crisp, white slipcovered, beachy decor, while I also love dark jeweled-tone paint colors that you often see in Ralph Lauren ads. Must be the Gemini in me. :)

Were you looking at me when you asked that question? :)

Marianne, I cannot tell you how much this plagues me! I'll go in one direction and then wish I'd gone in the complete opposite. It's even true of how I live. I live in the city, but I love quiet country life, too... and on it goes! If I were a little more wealthy I suppose this would be less of a problem--I could just have my summer house, my city abode, my pied a terre, and so on...
As it is, I just torture my boyfriend by redecorating sort of frequently :-)

I'm so with you. But I chose my house decor on the house/location and the fact that I live with all men. Nothing feminine here but my car and clothes xoxo

I'm exactly the same. I struggle with same problem when it comes to my home however I don't do it with my clients. I wonder why.

I know what you mean - some days I want to paint the whole house white, other days I want to paint every wall a different color. love both bedding choices!

ME! That's why I can't do my own house- I like TOO many things.
This post makes me laugh because I went shopping this weekend and fell in love with a big pillow that had an OWL on it. So random.

I do too; it can make decisions so difficult. One minute I'm loving very graphic, modern prints but then I end up being drawn to a tratdional floral. I guess that is why I am always drawn to interiors that are a mix of styles!

I do, which leads to buyers remorse and a collection of things I will use somewhere down the road lol!

I have my usual feminine style, but I have a great appreciation for lots of other styles, too - as long as they're done beautifully.
