Quiet Time- Be Kind

"Be Kind, For Everyone You Meet Is Fighting A Hard A Battle." - PlatoA few weeks ago I heard a joke and while I can't remember exactly how it went I can remember the basic point. It went something like this...

A lady pulled up behind a car at a stop light and when the light changed and the driver in front of her was slow to move she began screaming and honking and cursing. She was then pulled over by a cop who arrested her and took her to jail. After a few hours in jail they told her she was released and could go home. When she asked why she was arrested the cop stated he was sure she was driving a stolen car because anyone with that many Christian stickers on the back of the car surely wouldn't carry on the way she did at another human being.

Point taken.

This is one of my very favorite quotes! Just think if everyone kept in this in mind.

Love your joke/illustration of this.

Happy Sunday to you.

I like that story. Our sermon was kind of on that same subject. He asked us if a child where to watch you and want to be like you (as a parent, or mentor, etc) would you impress on them a genuine love and dedication to the Lord and reading the bible. It was very convicting!

What a serene image. I feel like I have been given a breath of fresh air just by the view.

Good thing to remember. Road rage can come so easy!

Point taken, indeed. What a great reminder that our actions (and reactions)often speak louder than our words in our Christian walk.
Love that quote by Plato. Reminds me also, of one of my favs...
God loves each of us as if there
were only one of us.
