Regis and Kelly to Forever 21 - By Shoes

This morning I had Regis and Kelly on in the background while I was getting stuff together and something made me go to their website. Okay, truth be told, I was entering to win a trip, I NEED a vacation. Anyhoo, while I was on there I came across a section called "Fashion Finder" which has Kelly and guests discussing what they are wearing from head to toe. Since Kelly always has the most amazing shoes I had to take a look.
I, of course was enamored with all the shoes and I somehow found myself looking at YSL shoes on Neimans.Which then somehow lead me to look at Jimmy Choo on Nordstrom. Why must I torture myself?

It was there that I was reminded of picture from Elle of the closet of Tamara Mellon, founder of Jimmy Choo. There are no words for how I feel about this closet.
While searching for this picture I came across El Beso who had these pictures of Tamara's London Home. This is when sometimes I feel like I am stalking people.

A closet full of Choos', a wonderful home, sigh. Maybe I should look at some shoes for myself, you know, as a pick me up. Problem is I am pretty sure that at this exact moment there is not enough money in my checking account for a pair of YSL or Choo shoes.

*I must say that some of my favorite shoes these days are from Jessica Simpson, which bothers me. There is something about celebrities having shoe lines that irks me. One of my favorite pairs of shoes I own are J. Lo from 4 years ago and every time someone asks me what brand they are I say, "I don't know" because it would make me cringe to say, "oh these are J. Lo" out loud. I know I have issues. Back to the more affordable Jessica Simpson...Really love the first one...

Need even cheaper? Target has had some good shoes lately. This first pair look IDENTICAL to some I have from somewhere else that are at least triple the price of the Target shoes. The tan pair I think could be cute, haven't seen them in person and I am not sure about the ankle strap, but you never know.

Both of the shoes below are $19.99, now I do know I have that in my bank account, haha. I actually own the pair on the left and they are very comfortable and pretty cute.

Finally, every now and then you can find a good pair of shoes at Forever 21. These are the type of sandals that I want to be able to pull off but I don't think I could. First of all because I am 5'2". Second of all because I not sure I even really like them. I do think they would look fantastic on someone though...
Alas, the only shoes I will be buying soon will be for my husband since today is his birthday and that is what he wants.....

I wish I had unlimited finds for hot shoes. But, for the moment Target is great for fun shoes that I will grow tired of in a season

Have you seen some of the shoes over at payless?
I am impressed at some labels for less, since I have 3 who I need to save for for college and they grow out of their shoes every few months! (But those are pretty swanky shoes!)

I swoon over designer shoes, but they are not what fill my closet. Perhaps someday. And I too like the last pair of shoes, but certainly not for me, rather for someone else.

Finally, I had to laugh at your JLo story because I can imagine feeling the same way. I've never been able to bring myself to wear a fragrance by a celeb (even if I have liked some) I guess I have issues, but I just can't imagine saying, "Oh, thanks! It's 'so-and-so's' perfume." I'd feel like I'd bought into some crazy fandom.

You are too funny. Now everytime I see you I will ask what kind of shoes you are wearing just to hear your answer:) Before kids I would not think twice about a shoe price now its the cheaper the better. Although, my kiddos do wear some expensive shoes.

I was just looking at target last night at the shoes and thinking how some are so cute and even remind me of some at anthropologie.
