While I prefer an upholstered bed I am loving some wood beds lately...
The
Savannah Bed above and the
Frenchtown Bed ,both from Somerset Bay, would really add some beauty to a bedroom. Even though the Savannah feels more masculine and the Frenchtown more feminine, I find myself drawn to them both equally.
There is something about a cane bed that I can't resist.
Ballard has another great option.
They also have a
plank headboard I am dying to see in person, looks promising...
What about you? Upholstered or Not?

Love them all! Sadly Im still working on convincing the hubster that we are in NEEEEEED of a new mattress... A ladies' work is never done I tell you! ;)

ReplyDeleteI love the 1st bed.... what a great place to rest your head! All in all, I prefer wood to upholstered.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Upholstered...great for reading in bed. I love the second image though, has a softer feel with the cane. I could be convinced to have that one in my home!

That first one is gorgeous. We have a sleigh bed and I love it. Although, I do like the look of an upholstered headboard.

ReplyDeleteI prefer upholstered, but I love how a wood headboard can add a masculine touch. I just saw that plank headboard in Ballard's catalog and fell in love with it!
