Morning Snack-Sparkles
Maybe it is because I am soooo sick of wearing the same 5 dresses/outfits over and over and over again (although it does make getting ready in the mornings really easy), but I am in the mood for something sparkly to wear. Just like this.And a place to wear it would be nice too.

ReplyDeleteI went to buy some maternity clothes last week and I found a GREAT store that sells amazing clothing. Plus, I got a really good sale and spent less than $60 on 4 pairs of pants (1 jeans) and 1 top. I couldn't believe the deals they were having!

I felt the same way but it was jeans with everything! Go online to Nordstrom or Pickes & Ice Cream and treat yourself to a fun frock! It will make you feel pretty (which you already are!) Or...go get a pedicure..just tell them to leave your ankles alone!

ReplyDeleteMy saving grace was lots of great accessories, some new and some that I already had in my wardrobe. And I LOVED the book "BUMP IT UP". Grab a copy, it's FAB! There are lots of sketches by Diane Von Furstenburg, Kate Spade and noted other designers. They guide you through mixing it up. I loved it!
And if you want that sparkle, go for it! A Pea in the Pod had a fabulous sequined tank! Also, I was so sick of maternity clothes that I would peruse Anthropologie and find things that would work and what a pick me up that is.
The best part of all is that the "real sparkle" in your life will be arriving soon and I can't tell you how amazing it is! Enjoy this time, it goes so fast :)
