There are several I really like but they all have their own problems: too large of scale (not that that would stop me), too dark on low ceilings (probably would not stop me either), big price tags for this purpose (okay this one might be a deal breaker). 
There are still some more on the way, I will let you know when those arrive. Here are some more that did not make the cut for this project but I do love them... 
Especially this one. Beaded, metallic paper? Yes please, you need to be used in a client's home or my future home...

ReplyDeleteI love your choices, they're all very interesting and calming. Nothing too much and I like that. My baby will share bedrooms with one of my other 2 children. So, I can't start doing anything right now and our baby will stay in our bedroom for the first months. But I can't wait to move and have have a bedroom just for him (her). I say if you do it go for something with some punch to it, bold, and fun. The muted calm ones are nice but little ones tend to stare at the ceiling for endless hours so make sure he has something wonderful and unique to look at.

ReplyDeleteGo graphic-- good for the baby's brain. They are supposed to really like black/white contrast. I think you could justify additional expenses in an effort to enhance your child's development:) I'm with Stephanie-- I like the largest, and the starburst-y one next to it.
